Selling due to urgent domestic projects and space limitations. Vehicle is in mostly original condition, first registered in September 1978, only modifications being:- • Halogen headlights • Two Wipac spotlights • Sidesteps and rear steps • Paper element air filter, not oil bath type • Electric cooling fan • AVM Free-wheeling hubs • Non- standard- but more comfortable- seats fitted- but no centre seat. The panels are straight with few marks or dings Engine runs well with no oil leaks and is very clean The radiator core has a few leaks so is in need of replacement High and low gearboxes are in good shape Wheels are standard 16” steel, in limestone fitted with Michelin XZL - 4 x 4 O/R tyres, all with excellent tread remaining. Replacement parts are suggested to be the door seals, leaf springs and shock absorbers and the steel grille panel could be repaired, or perhaps better replaced The vehicle currently has no MOT [and is SORN] as it requires repairs to the chassis and also replacement foot-well panels and perhaps the lower hinge pillars on the bulkhead. Currently the hardtop, bonnet and rear door have been removed but will be re-fitted prior to sale.
